      <image:caption>My name is Alex Hoffman, I live in New York, but a Midwestern at heart. From a young age I was notorious for wearing 3 outfits in one day leaving my mom with constant laundry. I have always had a sense of unique style and love to stand out from the everyday crowd. I always wanted to buy clothes that everyone else didn’t have. My true passion for merchandising started in high school when I started working for a dress occasion boutique where I was able to help girls find their dream prom, homecoming, &amp; turnabout dress. I loved being able to make someone feel confident and beautiful both inside and out. I went on to get a Degree in apparel merchandising &amp; business marketing at Indiana University and had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence Italy. Following college I took a internship and then full time offer at Macy’s Corporate Buying Offices. I took a leap of faith and moved back to Chicago for a leap year and then ended back in New York at Macy’s offices as I realized the city and company stole my heart. Last year I joined Macy’s Style Crew, which is an internal social media affiliate program.
